In commemoration of National Batik Day, held every October 2nd, this year Pigeon Indonesia issued a baby bottle with batik patterns which was introduced at the opening ceremony of Pigeon’s Batik Exhibition.
The theme of the exhibition was ‘Kreasi Anak Bangsa untuk Melestarikan Budaya Nusantara’ (Indonesian Creation to Preserve Culture Heritage). Pigeon Indonesia collaborated with Batik Activist and Social Entrepreneur Iwet Ramadan. The Exhibition introduced new baby bottles adorned with batik pattern called ‘The Phoenix’ which was created by a group of women from Rusunawa Pulau Gebang, which Iwet Ramadan coached.
The Phoenix pattern was chosen for the Pigeon bottles as it symbolizes the strength and elegance of woman, A mother who with all her strength and elegance nurtures the baby by providing her best: ASI (breast milk). This event was held at Pacific Place, October 2-13, 2019, at 10.00 to 22.00 WIB.
